Goa Carnival

Goa is culturally distinct because the state has been under the influence of Portuguese. This makes Goa special compared to other states of India. Carnival--a special event
The beginning of the carnival of Goa takes place with a colossal procession on the streets of Goa. The event takes place on Saturday when uncountable balloons are bobbed in air. Besides this, you can see the bullock carts and the gorgeous horse drawn chariots. You have mask dances during the event apart from various sports competitions. This festival is in honor of king Momo and it has similarity with Latin American carnivals. Carnival attracts tourists from different parts of the world and is the happiest event of Goa.
